On February 2, 2024, Studio VMA, in collaboration with CRIBE, hosted their second leadership workshop in Ottawa, ON, focusing on Wood-Based Sustainable Buildings. The workshop’s core discussion revolved around the advantages, the potential for growth, the obstacles, and the innovative steps necessary to enhance the adoption of advanced forest-based biomaterials for sustainable building within the construction sector in Ontario.

This event saw the participation of Studio VMA alongside five key figures from government and major sectors, including architecture and engineering. We thank all attendees, notably Alex Nott, Minister of Natural Resources and Forestry, and Steven Street, Executive Director of Wood Works Ontario.
