Nextfor hosted an Innovation Forum in Thunder Bay, ON on January 30, 2024 to discuss forest-based decarbonization pathways for mining applications, as well as collaboration between the mining and forest sector and other members of the value chain.

We were very encouraged to have been joined by several stakeholders from the mining industry, the forest sector, First Nations Councils, academia, government and more. We would like to extend special gratitude to Hon. Minister Graydon Smith, Minister of Natural Resources & Forestry, and Kevin Holland, MPP Thunder Bay-Atikokan for their presence.
