Nextfor hosted the Growing our Forest Future Forum on May 1st, 2025 in Toronto, ON to provide an update on CRIBE’s existing projects and initiatives and discuss how new innovation and Made-In-Ontario solutions can be implemented to strengthen, diversify and grow Ontario’s forest sector. The event brought together participants from the forestry, energy and construction sectors, government and academia and more, to explore key findings from CRIBE’s recent programming, identify barriers to growth, and set the stage for future initiatives, including furthering a regional vision for growing Northwestern Ontario’s economy and the announcement of a new round of funding challenges.
